Dorobek literacki Joanny Chmieleweskiej jest znaczny, a połączenie kryminału z satyrą w jej wykonaniu zmusza czytelników do sięgania po kolejne powieści jej autorstwa. Temu urokowi również ja nie mogłem się oprzeć. Stąd kolejna recenzja książki tej pisarki.
Tytuł książki Wszystko czerwone donosi się do dość dowolnego tłumaczenia, jakiego dokonała Joanna. Chodziło o nazwę miasteczka w Danii, w którym rozgrywają się opisywane wydarzenia. Tłumaczenie to okazało się bardzo nieszczęśliwe. Już na wieczornej imprezie, na której znalazło się wielu gości, dokonano pierwszego morderstwa. Potem trup ścielił się gęsto… no może nie całkiem trup, ale to wyjaśni się w trakcie lektury. Pani domu – Alicja, podchodzi dość nonszalancko do faktu, iż ktoś usiłuje ją zamordować. Przez karty powieści przewija się mnóstwo osób, bardziej lub mniej sympatycznych. Uczynna narratorka postara się odpowiednio nastawić do nich czytelnika. Swoistym fenomenem lingwistycznym jest sympatyczny policjant duński, który mówi po polsku, albo raczej czymś co w jego mniemaniu język polski przypomina.
Jak zawsze u Chmielewskiej obrót akcji i perypetie bohaterów powinny przerażać, ale zamiast tego ma się wrażenie dobrej zabawy. Polecam tę książkę głównie ze względu na sporą dawkę dobrego humoru jaką zawiera.

Today, I went to the beach with my children.
