Andrzej Pilipiuk zdobył sobie już miejsce wśród czołowych polskich autorów książek fantastycznych. Miejsce to wywalczył mu przepychając się łokciami i pomagając sobie starym bagnetem dobytym z cholewki, jego najpopularniejszy bohater – Jakub Wędrowycz.
Kuzynki to powieść nieco odmienna od przygód egzorcysty-amatora. Jest to kolejny ironiczny obraz rzeczywistości opakowany w formę powieści fantasy. To przygody trzech młodych dziewczyn, choć tak naprawdę nie wszystkie są takie młode, jak na to wyglądają. Co ma wspólnego CBŚ, kamień filozoficzny i księżniczka, która jest długowieczną wampirzycą (lub raczej wampirzątkiem)? Żeby rozwiązać tę zagadkę, trzeba sięgnąć po książkę. Jeśli zdradzę więcej, jedynie popsuję zabawę.
I jeszcze jedno. Wprawdzie Kuzynki to „produkt wolny od Jakuba Wędrowycza”, ale jednak w kolejnych tomach przygód tych bohaterek, na chwilę zerknie prze uchylone drzwi fantazji ten niepoprawny egzorcysta-amator. Bardzo polecam tę książkę, zarówno tym którzy lubią Wędrowycza, jak i tym, którzy nie darzą go zbytnią sympatią. Zapewniam o kilku godzinach dobrej rozrywki.
