Nigdy nie byłem wiernym fanem książek o takiej tematyce, ale pożyczony od znajomego „Katyń” zmienił moje zapatrywania w tym względzie.
Wydana nakładem Rady Ochrony Pamięci Walk i Męczeństwa pozycja stanowi dogłębne źródło analizy stalinowskiej masakry. Na 400 stronach Paul stara się w sposób obiektywny przedstawić wszelkie aspekty ludobójstwa. Przedstawia zarówno niezbite dowody historyczne, jak i zeznania świadków tragedii. Oprócz faktów dotyczących samego wydarzenia w katyńskim lesie, znajdujemy także obszernie naświetlone tło historyczne, które miało ogromny wpływ na przebieg wydarzeń.
Książka godna jest polecenia wszystkim, którzy chcieliby usystematyzować wiedzę na temat tragedii, która spotkała Polaków w roku 1940. Autor dedykuje swoje dzieło „nieugiętemu duchowi Polski, który ostatecznie zwyciężył”.
